Expansion Bethlehem’s Comforts of Home
Ministry will now also be offering "household items" to
the people that we serve as an affiliate of Love
in the Name of Christ of Greater Beaverton. So, if
you are cleaning out your cupboards after Christmas to make way for your
new items, please consider giving to Comforts of Home instead of Goodwill.
Ministry Every week we are serving people within our community that are in need. We have spoken to women who have moved out of abusive situations and have come away with none of their possessions. Your donations will be very well received! We will be collecting useable/gently used items that you can find at such retailers as Bed, Bath & Beyond (no decorations or electronics, please), for example: Items especially needed are… Kitchen items... pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, small appliances (coffee makers, blenders,etc.) Bathroom items...shower curtains, bath mats etc. Living room items...lamps Linens…comforters, sheets, pillows and cases, towels, dish and wash cloths Please, these items cannot be recycled through Love Inc… Decorations of any type including vases and candles TV sets, Radios, Computers, Stereos, CD players/walkman etc.
New Location Comforts of Home now occupies the upstairs room in the main church building (just outside the balcony). Please leave your donations on the landing area (up the stairs above the Information Desk).
